Two US Soldiers Die In Vehicle Accident In Baghdad February 2, 2007

BAGHDAD (AP)–Two Multi-National Corps soldiers died Thursday as a result of a vehicle accident at Camp Liberty, on the edge of Baghdad, the military said in a separate statement.

The names of the soldiers were being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The deaths raise to at least 3,087 members of the U.S. military have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an AP count. At least 2,480 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military’s numbers.
